Work Undercover for the IRS and
Stop Illegal Hiring

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

By Dave Bertrand

As much as everyone detests I.R.S. audit / investigations, it seems the Minutemen have found an I.R.S. "Whistle Blower" policy that can earn their chapters and others easy money for blowing the whistle on dubious employers that hire illegal aliens.

The Minutemen in Arizona and other states conduct "urban ops" at day jobsites where illegal aliens gather to provide their services below the minimum wage. An I.R.S. "Whistle Blower - Informant Award" can now provide Minutemen groups nationwide a viable income for their courageous efforts to keep America safe and informed.

America has reached the point of no return and citizens must act to maintain law and order, if not for ourselves, but for our neighbors. The government cannot be relied upon...but we as citizens can put the government to work for us, as they should be doing anyway. The I.R.S. provision can be an effective tool for fighting crime.

One homeless man......a U.S. citizen that approached me at a Wal*Mart parking lot in Tucson, explained to me that he in-fact tried to work a day's job by standing with illegal aliens in front of the local 'Home Depot,' but was forced to leave the area by store managers and by a group of illegal aliens themselves! I did not personally confirm that, but Minutemen teams have witnessed and photographed activities outside 'Home Depot' and other sites. Construction workers, electricians, carpenters and plumbers pick-up laborers and easily pay them less than regular wages, while a homeless American is forced to ask Wal*Mart shoppers for loose change.

Yes, we could agree that many homeless, asking for money in parking lots, do not want to work a job that illegal aliens are willing to do.  However, what is happening across the United States....we're seeing millions of illegal aliens taking jobs from U.S. citizens that do want to work. The Immigration Customs Enforcement (I.C.E.) raids at several food plants thus far, have resulted in hundreds of arrests and deportations, followed by Americans applying for those same jobs the very next day.

Because of I.C.E.'s "limited resources," the raids are only propaganda stunts for media, but mainly to show naive Americans that Homeland Security is fighting a "war on terror" therefore the raids will continue, but the borders will remain wide-open.

This nonsense approach to addressing our national security is flowered with fertilizer and ribbons.

While the real horror of human sex slaves being raped and extorted in Phoenix, Houston, Tucson safe houses, by Mexican human smugglers in the southwest, and by Chinese smugglers doing the same with Chinese sex slaves in the northwest, the corruption is down-played by local county officials and often ignored by pro-Hispanic groups that want open borders. Most illegal aliens are processed through a criminal network that grows everyday in the U.S. and are held in safe houses until additional funds can be extorted. The illegal alien is then provided with a stolen or fake resident card / social security card, and is then transported to anywhere U.S.A.

Many ruthless employers often prepay criminal networks, originating with Mexican drug cartels, for the illegal alien to be transported to the employer where he/she is enslaved for a duration to cover the expense. Others become part of a local drug selling operation and/or prostitution. "Sweat shops" in Elizabeth, New Jersey hire hundreds of women to clean and fold clothes, shipped-in from all over the country from "Goodwill Industries" where the clothes are packaged and sold in high cost retail shops in Europe. The illegal aliens are paid in cash after every break during the day, just in-case they are busted.

What's important to note here, those same sex slaves and male counterpart family members, end-up in our nation's manufacturing infrastructure, after their families in the home country of origin have paid-out the extorted funds to the criminal organizations that also provide the fraudulent identification needed to bypass the eVerify program. http://www.dhs.gov/xprevprot/programs/gc_1185221678150.shtm

The Minutemen have continued to bring about awareness to the federal government and the public, which resulted many documentaries and interest by foreign journalists. An added token of U.S. Border Patrol agents and a brief deployment of National Guard troops, effected a positive impact on the border. This created a false sense of national security while politicians quickly declared the borders safer than ever before. Not true, false, and a disgrace for the most powerful nation on earth.

Again...the American citizen continues to maintain a border vigilance on our borders to help intercept that potential al Qaeda bio-weapon carrying terrorist. Every type of person imaginable enters the United States, undetected, and if not carrying a WMD, is likely carrying a disease. The rise in T.B., hepatitis, HIV, and a type of brain eating (worm) disease called Taenia Solium, from eating undercooked pork in Mexico and in some locations in the southwest United States, is appearing in the U.S. as a result of third world lack of proper hygiene when preparing food at restaurants. We cannot discount the possibility that food we consume from food manufacturing plants, that hire illegal aliens, specifically, from Latin American countries, could be introducing their disease to our food supply. http://www.rense.com/general9/brain.htm

Note: Legal immigrants that enter the United States are required to have a full medical examination before entering.

The Minutemen appear to be taking their "urban ops" to a higher level by alerting the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) of employers that do not pay taxes for their employees, and is a way of enforcing laws that politicians and law enforcement types refuse to do. Like they say..."play them at their own game."

The I.R.S. has been around for quite some time and they have done a great job of ruining people's lives, and now their own rules and regulations can be used to force employers to hire legal residents and citizens. Will they in-fact act on intel provided by citizens? According to their own words, they certainly will and they will pay you !

The I.R.S. program is open to anyone that wants to get involved. The requirements and guidelines are provided on the I.R.S. website and can be an effective tool for fighting crime. There are 30 million plus illegal aliens inside the United States and if only one percent are working "under the table," that's 300,000 jobs that could be had by legal residents and citizens.

With the collapsing economy, the unemployed could make a difference and get involved with helping the I.R.S., since there seems to be plenty of I.R.S. agents to track 300 million citizens on April 15th, but not enough I.C.E. agents to track 30 million illegal aliens.

Whistleblower - Informant Award

http://www.irs.gov/compliance/article/0,,id=180171,00.html

The IRS Whistleblower Office pays money to people who blow the whistle on persons who fail to pay the tax that they owe.  If the IRS uses information provided by the whistleblower, it can award the whistleblower up to 30 percent of the additional tax, penalty and other amounts it collects.

Who can get an award?

The IRS may pay awards to people who provide specific and credible information to the IRS if the information results in the collection of taxes, penalties, interest or other amounts from the noncompliant taxpayer.

The IRS is looking for solid information, not an “educated guess” or unsupported speculation. We are also looking for a significant Federal tax issue - this is not a program for resolving personal problems or disputes about a business relationship.

What are the rules for getting an award?

The law provides for two types of awards. If the taxes, penalties, interest and other amounts in dispute exceed $2 million, and a few other qualifications are met, the IRS will pay 15 percent to 30 percent of the amount collected. If the case deals with an individual, his or her annual gross income must be more than $200,000. If the whistleblower disagrees with the outcome of the claim, he or she can appeal to the Tax Court. These rules are found at Internal Revenue Code IRC Section 7623(b) - Whistleblower Rules.

The IRS also has an award program for other whistleblowers - generally those who do not meet the dollar thresholds of $2 million in dispute or cases involving individual taxpayers with gross income of less that $200,000. The awards through this program are less, with a maximum award of 15 percent up to $10 million. In addition, the awards are discretionary and the informant cannot dispute the outcome of the claim in Tax Court. The rules for these cases are found at Internal Revenue Code IRC Section 7623(a) - Informant Claims Program, and some of the rules are different from those that apply to cases involving more than $2 million.

If you decide to submit information and seek an award for doing so, use IRS Form 211. The same form is used for both award programs.
