The day that an American can not wear the colors of our nation - RED, WHITE and BLUE
no matter what holiday it may be in another Country - is a SHAMEFUL DAY, indeed.[1] [2] [3]
There are many holidays that people celebrate which are hosted by a wide range of individuals.
However NOT ONE that I am aware of demands that we throw our Patriotism, American Pride and colors - under the bus.
For example - St. Patrick's Day - I am not Irish
How many of those celebrating St. Patrick's day wearing green -
would demand that you or I remove a USA flag from our attrie?
The more likely scenario would be that they would say "Hey, want some green beer?"
One student (below) at the school actually believes that these students should apologizes!!!
Apologize for what - pride in the Country - WE ARE LIVING IN???
That is right - we are in the United States of America - not Mexico.
If we choose to participate - so be it and................... if not - that is our choice as well
The attire we choose to wear - is just that - OUR CHOICE.
