To a red blooded American citizen, nothing is more insulting that being greeted by “Press 1 for English” in a recorded message when trying to reach a firm with whom regularly transacts business.

Even more frustrating is the message delivered in gutteral Spanish which presumably encourages callers to “Press X for Spanish,” although most Americans do not now, never have, and never will speak Spanish!

Businesses guilty of these rude practices demonstrate precious little regard for American language and culture, and are completely without a clue when it comes to serving English-speaking citizens.

Why do otherwise prudent business people try to ram Spanish down the throats of citizens born and raised in America? Why not force the foreign newcomers to learn English? The purpose of “Press 2 for English” is to address this outrageous, backward thinking and to combat the insanity head on by:

Back during The Great Depression, President Herbert Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens in order to make jobs available to American citizens that desperately needed work.

Harry Truman deported over two million Illegal’s after WWII to create jobs for returning veterans.

And then again in 1954, President Dwight Eisenhower deported 13 million

Mexican Nationals! The program was called ‘Operation Wetback’. It was done so WWII and Korean Veterans would have a better chance at jobs.
